How does Venta hydrate?
Rollers rotating in the water have the total area of 4.2 m2. When dry air gets between the rollers, water is evaporated from the active surface, and humidified air is then emitted into the room. At the time when the room reaches a comfortable level of humidity, water ceases to evaporate. In this way the possibility of over-humidifying is excluded.
How does the air-purification process work?
Suspended particles such as dust, tobacco smoke, pollen and odor molecules are sucked from the air into the water by the rotating disk stack and then bound by the water. Pure, clean water evaporates. Dirt remains in the tank and can be easily poured out every 10-14 days.
When should we use Venta?
This depends on individual needs. Since Venta is an energy-saving device, cost of power consumption is very low even when we use it 24 hours a day.
What level of humidity we can get and how often we should complement the water?
Depending on the conditions we can get a 40-55% of relative humidity. Factors affecting the humidity levels are: heating/cooling, layout of the apartment and its equipment, air circulation and the amount of water in the device. In the dry areas during the first days of use, we observe an increased evaporation of water which may be accompanied by lower levels of humidity.
Where is the best place to set up Venta?
Venta should be placed on the floor in the most central location. The setting must allow air to flow through the device. Remember, therefore, about maintaining a distance of 0.5m from the walls of the room.
Do open windows and exterior doors affect the efficiency Venty?
The device works best in closed spaces - like air conditioning! Internal doors can be opened - it will improve the exchange of air between rooms.
Does the level of water in the pool may exceed the axes of rollers?
This is not a problem. Pool can hold 10 liters of water (LW44). Effectiveness of the device is slightly lower only for the first hours. Remember: the higher the active surface of rollers, the higher the effectiveness of humidifying and purifying.
Is it necessary to apply a hygienic measure of Venta (bioabsorber)?
Yes. Bioabsorber prevents the accumulation of hard and difficult to remove mineral deposits - they are easy to flush out while exchanging the water. In addition, bioabsorber increases the effectiveness of the device creating a water coating on the rollers (instead of "sprinkling"), making use of each cm2 of active surface of the rollers. Bioapsorber also eliminates odors.
What happens when the water evaporates completely, and the device still works?
Dirt and dust from the air remains at the bottom of the tank. The device will not be harmed, but it humidifies and purifies only when there is water inside the tank.
Do we need to add a hygienic measure Venta when tank is completely dry?
No, because the ingredients of bioabsorber are non-volatile and remain in the device as a dry substance. It is enough to pour fresh water to dissolve the active bioabsorber. One dose of bioabsorber protects device against calcium deposits for 10-14 days.
What to do when humidifier was not working for a longer period of time?
Just do a thorough cleaning with cleaner/descaler Venta. Tip: do this also when you plan not to use Venta for longer time, thanks to this deposits in the device will not dry out and harden.
What is the best way to clean Venta?
Every 10-14 days wipe the pool with a damp sponge. Rinse the rollers, and possibly wipe them with a brush or sponge. Periodically use a cleaner/descaler Venta. Each time take care that the engine is not exposed to water. More information can be found in the manual.
