USER MANUAL AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OILED WONDER FLOORING
Rubio Monocoat Soap and Rubio Monocoat Surface Care
• It is not recommended to wash the surface with soap and water daily. We recommend using RMC Soap no more than once every two weeks.
• For furniture, we recommend using the ready-to-use product RMC Surface Care.
• When washing the surface with a water solution of RMC Soap, use a maximum of 50 ml of the product per 10 liters of water.
• Using too much soap will create a dirt-attracting film. It is better to use less soap or avoid it altogether.
• RMC Soap does not protect or enhance the action of the oil used to cover the surface. • It is best to clean the surface using a mop and two buckets, with the first containing warm water with RMC Soap and the second containing clean cold water for rinsing the dirty mop. • Machine cleaning with water is not recommended as this method leads to excessive water accumulation on the surface.
RMC Universal Maintenance Oil Maintenance – universal maintenance oil available in 3 colors.
Rubio Monocoat Universal Maintenance Oil is a universal oil designed for the maintenance of previously oiled wooden surfaces regardless of the original product used. The product protects and refreshes the color. RMC Universal Maintenance Oil nurtures the base, giving it a more beautiful appearance (slightly satin sheen) and increases its resistance to liquids.
1. Clean the floor from dust and dirt.
2. Thoroughly wash the surface with RMC Soap and water, then rinse with clean water to remove soap residue. Allow to dry completely.
3. Manual application – Apply the oil using a cloth, brush, or sponge.
4. Mechanical application – Apply the oil using a polishing machine with a beige pad. Work on an area of 2 to 4 m2 at a time. Wipe dry within 15 minutes using a paper towel or cotton cloth. If using a polishing machine for wiping, use a white pad.
5. Ensure good room ventilation. The floor should be dry within 6-8 hours.
Renovation
Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C In case of significant wear or color loss, apply RMC Oil 2C wax oil in the original shade
Application:
1. Sand the surface with 100-grit sandpaper or GS-320 pad.
2. Thoroughly clean the surface with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. We recommend using RMC Cleaner (for interiors).
3. Apply RMC Oil Plus 2C (in the original color) using a white pad.
4. The oil efficiency depends on the degree of wear of the surface to be renewed but is very high. 350 ml of oil is sufficient to cover approximately 50m2.
5. Do not apply oil to too large a surface at once as the absorption time should not exceed 10-15 minutes.
6. Remove excess oil with a white pad and/or lint-free cloth. Wipe the oiled surface dry thoroughly.
7. A properly wiped oil surface, with good room ventilation, will be dry within 8-12 hours.
8. You can clean the surface with a damp cloth after 48 hours. After a week, you can wash it with water and RMC Soap.
RMC Refresh Eco is a ready-to-use product that refreshes and renews oiled wood. Depending on the level of surface wear, RMC Refresh Eco can be applied several times a year on certain parts of the surface. This procedure may be necessary when the surface begins to show initial signs of wear.
It can be applied several times a year. Non-pigmented. To restore color, use RMC Oil Plus 2C in the color in which the surface was treated.
- APPLICATION:
1. Clean the surface using RMC Soap or RMC Surface Care. Allow to dry.
2. Spray a small amount of RMC Refresh Eco on the area to be refreshed.
3. Spread the product along the wood fibers using a microfiber cloth.
4. Allow to dry for at least 1 hour. The surface is ready to use once dry.
- COVERAGE: 1 L = +/- 100 m2
The provided coverage is approximate and depends on the type of wood and surface preparation. For precise calculations, it is recommended to conduct a test.
RMC Universal Maintenance Oil Pure is a maintenance product that refreshes wood treated with Rubio® Monocoat oil, as well as improves the appearance of surfaces oiled with other products.

- Application: Pour 50-100ml of LOBA CLEANER into 10l of water and mop the floor.
- Consumption: Depending on the degree of dirt. Highly efficient product.
Water-based care product for all types of varnished floors. The product stands out with exceptional adhesion, especially on problematic surfaces such as floors coated with anti-scratch varnish.
- Additional benefits: scratch protection, shine, easy to use.
- Surface preparation: The surface should be vacuumed. Clean and dry.
- Application: Apply LOBA ParkettCare evenly, undiluted, to a clean and dry floor. Do not attempt to improve the surface while the product is drying! Careful walking possible after approximately 1 hour.
- Consumption: 3-4l / 100m2 per coat.
