Floor painting
Coating allows to protect the floor not only against water and moisture, but also against dirt that arises due to intensive use. A wooden floor with a protective layer is much easier to clean, lasts longer, and gains a very attractive appearance.
However, it is important to remember that floor coating also has several disadvantages that are worth knowing before deciding on this type of protection for wooden floors. First of all, basic coatings are usually not highly resistant to abrasion, although we also offer coatings with increased resistance to wear. Additionally, a coated floor cannot be repaired locally, and the coating may cause the edges of individual floorboards to stick together. If a coated parquet floor requires renovation, it will be necessary to sand the entire surface of the floor.
We offer a wide selection of coatings that will allow us to coat your floor according to your preferences (matte, semi-matte, glossy, satin). Of course, it is important to choose the type of coating that matches the type of wooden floor and the intensity of its use. For areas with low foot traffic, fast-drying water-based coatings are the best choice, while for areas with moderate foot traffic, two-component polyurethane coatings are more suitable. For heavily used floors, it is recommended to use a one-component polyurethane coating, which offers the greatest resistance to wear.
At Parkiet Studio, we pay special attention to quality, so we only use top-quality coatings with a non-intrusive smell for the room users. Our employee will prepare the floor surface for proper coating by thoroughly cleaning the wooden floor of any impurities and dust that could disrupt the correct application of the coating.
